Worksheet for Children and Beginner - Auxiliary Verbs - Do, Does, Am, Is, Are (P19 - Playtime)

 Hi friends,

It has been almost a month since the last post, right. This week is not easy for me, my favorite artist passed away because of a stroke. You know, I and also his colleagues and his fans are very shocked because he was a healthy-happy man. I have tried my best to get out of the pain of this suffering and try to stay positive. It's a challenge for me also for some people who have lost an important person forever, especially in Covid-19 pandemic, I know there are some people who suffer from it. Listening to Budda's teaching and meditation music on the Internet are really helpful. Life is impermanent, when you see your family, your friends, your lovers who are beside you, this moment doesn't last forever, so please treat them as well as you can. Then if the impermanence comes, you have nothing to regret.

Today is a game worksheet for you (or your students) to review about do, does, am, is, are. It's Auxiliary Verbs - Do, Does, Am, Is, Are worksheet (P19 - Playtime). There are 5 mini games:

  • Game 1: Find the correct flower to the pot and color it.
  • Game 2: Use your answers in game 1 to complete the sentences and label the pots.
  • Game 3: Complete the dialogue about Nami-chan.
  • Game 4: Read the ideas and write True or False.
  • Game 5: Find the missing words in word search and fill in the blank.

Download here: https://bit.ly/2LdeoGS

I also include the answer key in the file, so you can check the correct answers when finishing. After this worksheet, you or your students will know how to use Do, Does, Am, Is, Are in the right way.

Worksheet for Children and Beginner - Tenses - Past Simple and Past Participle Spelling Rules - Present Perfect Tense and Past Simple Tense (P5)

 Hi friends,

Today is the post will show you how to add -ed in the correct way. I know you (or your students) have got confused when adding -ed to the verb, you don't know the spelling rules you have learned is correct or not. There are lots of English sources on the internet you can take a look, but you think it's not enough, some have this rule but some do not. My students have the same problem. So I decided to make the grammar sheet of Past Simple and Past Participle Spelling Rules.

There are 4 rules you have to remember when adding ed to the verb:

1. When the verbs end in "e" => add "d"

Eg: arrive => arrived         ; realize => realized

2. When the verbs end in consonant + "y" => omit "y" then add "ied"

Eg: try => tried                 ; study => studied

3. When the verbs end in consonant 1 + vowel + consonant 2 (excludes w, x, y) => double the consonant 2 then add "ed"

* Note: do not use this rule for a two-syllable verb when the stress is on the first syllable

Eg: prefer (/prɪˈfɝː/) => preferred         but     happen /ˈhæp.ən/ => happened

4. When the verbs end in consonant + vowel + "l" => add "led" (US) or add "ed" (UK)

Eg: travel => travelled (US) or traveled (UK)

Download here: https://bit.ly/2XlJMWh

I also include the examples and exercises for you (or your students) to practice and use these spelling rules in the right way. You can check the answer key on page 2.

Hope this worksheet can help you to learn English with effortless. Share if you think it's helpful.

My family felt relieve and we won't eat meat and fish in a month to thanks for Buddist and Bodhisattva who bless us and give us strength to get through this difficulty. I also had a year to study at Qigong Rememo - this is a place where I can learn how to treat some common diseases such as stomachache, headache, fever, cold, ... even diabetes or cancer, ... just by eating, drinking and do Qigong exercises. Hi friends,
The Covid-19 pandemic is not over yet, there are still lots of people in the world in suffer with it. Every day, I read chanting, listen to the teaching from the monks to keep possive and pray for the world will get better soon.

I have an interesting thing want to share with you. It's happened almost a month ago, I heard about the numerology from my sister and at first, I thought it's superstitions. But after she had talked about me or something I had suffered in the past base on the knowledge of numerology that she's learnt, it's correct and I started having a serious study about Pythagoras numerology. I've used this method to see the personality and the capacity of my students, some cousins and you know it's true for them. Pythagoras is really amazing when finding out the rules of the numbers. I think that it's really useful if everyone knows this rule and you even can change your life for better. I promise I will show you in details if I have time.
